    Overview

The purpose of this wiki page is to provide an access point for individuals to acquire individual metrics on their work in eXtension that can be used for reporting purposes (e.g., annual reports and promotion and tenure dossiers). While scholarship is defined differently in different institutions, this information will hopefully aid you in your individual efforts.

    Metrics and Scholarship

A short description of the various eXtension scholarship data elements and how they can be interpreted (including average word counts on documents so they can be compared (relatively) to print documents/publications) will be developed that can be used/inserted in tenure and promotion dossiers and annual faculty reports.

    Examples of Successful Scholarship

It will also include examples of how others have successfully used these data in their situations and a template to use in developing narrative statements for these documents. It will also be a place where people can communicate (and post documents) about their successes and challenges in documenting the scholarship of eXtension.
